Dunlap looked very impressive on Tuesday in their win over UTHS. So Springfield's win over Dunlap really looks impressive. Anyone who thought Springfield will be down this year, did not read things well!!

GALESBURG TOURNAMENT: Jessica Lieber scored 20 of her game-high 24 points in the first three quarters of play to help the host Streaks to a 64-46 victory over East Peoria in the second of two games at Thiel Gymnasium.
Sharron Diggins chipped in 11 points for Galesburg, which drained 10 3-pointers in the win. Kylie Giebelhausen finished with 12 points to pace the Raiders.
Rock Island Alleman had three players reach double figures in a 60-39 win over Metamora in the first game of the night.
Anne Bohnert scored a team-high 13 points to lead the Pioneers, who also benefitted from 11 points from Erin Morrisey and 10 from Maddie McGuire. Cassidy Ioerger finished with a game-high 15 points for the Redbirds.
Over in Dunlap, Springfield rode a fast start to a 64-25 victory against the tournament co-hosts.
Meghan Fetter and Ashton Williams combined to score 25 points on their own for the Senators, who led 23-4 after a quarter and took a 44-12 advantage into halftime. Brianna Henson scored 11 points to lead the Eagles.
