Plus, senior Maureen Lawless elected not to play. However, veteran coach Ron Carrothers always puts a competitive team on the floor. Returning are juniors Bridget and Katie Bill, junior Matti Bielfeldt and junior Maggie Maloof, who has recovered from the foot injury which kept her off the court most of last season. The Irish have no seniors. “We had a little bit of an exodus we didn’t see coming,” Carrothers said. “But we’re real pleased with what we’ve done so far. We have to rely on each other and trust each other.”
