Banquet Night

We had a nice night for our banquet. The mothers did a wonderful job organizing the banquet. We are so fortunate to have access to the Pavilion, something Galesburg should certainly be proud of. All of the girls teams and the cheerleaders were recognized for their wonderful seasons.

On the varsity level, the following achievements were recognized--

It was an exciting year. The girls worked hard and they were good teammates to each other.

It will be challenging next year, but we have a lot of girls excited about basketball. Based on our post season signups and exit meetings, we have the following levels of interest--

Varsity level 18-20 girls interested, who will make good candidates.
Soph level 19 girls who will be sophs interested, plus maybe a few incoming frosh
Frosh level 25+ girls.

Our style of play is certainly increasing interest level. There will be a lot of competition for spots, but competition raises the bar. It looks like another exciting season!!
