GENESEO -- She might have been a secret weapon on Saturday night, but the cat's out of the bag on Kirsten Randall.

The Annawan guard torched Geneseo for 16 points, making four treys as the Bravettes won the Temple's Tip-Off Classic at Geneseo over the hosts 57-42.

Heading into the game, it had the billing of whose bigs would rule the night. After the final horn sounded, though, it was Randall and teammates Riley Jackson and Megan Foes who had the last laugh.

Those three Annawan guards combined to shoot 8-for-11 from behind the arc, crushing the spirits of the home crowd and giving the Bravettes their first Geneseo tourney title in three years.

"I knew going into the game she was going to be our secret weapon," said Annawan coach Jason Burkiewicz of Randall. "We were able to get her open in the corner and she just kept knocking it down."

In an offensive set they call "Maple Leaf," Annawan exploited Geneseo's 1-3-1 zone by taking what the defense is willing to allow, the corner three-ball.
