I was told by a Chicago reporter that only 3 of Bolingbrooks varsity players attended junior high in the Bolingbrook school district.
Earlier this year the Journal Star ran an article on the number of boys players who were starting for a different school this year than last year.
The respected Chicago reporter told of the most interesting account-- in recent years there was a big game in boys basketball between Evanston and Whitney Young. Two brothers who shared the same bedroom each started in the game- one for Evanston and one for Whitney Young.
