Shooting School Started

Streaks Shooting School got started on Sunday afternoon with 30 plus girls participating. It will continue for the next three Sundays from 4:30-6:00pm. Players can still enroll next Sunday.

Our basic routine is to have the players partner shoot with focus on basic shooting fundamentals. We use special shooting plates to work on shooting one handed and remove the guide hand. We use the Beilein balls to work on proper rotation. We also focus in our partner work on getting back spin, holding the follow thru, jumping with our shot, and stepping into the shot.

In our station work, we are able to keep the groups very small with no more than 6 players per station. In stations we focused developing shooting arc with the Gun, using the plates and Beilein balls at the baskets, and working to square up on the shot.

Players can still enroll for the next three sessions.
