The following is the QC Times All-Metro team. Note Galesburg is not in Metro area. 


First team
Leti Lerma, Muscatine
Height, year: 5-10, junior
Honors/stats: Iowa Newspaper Association, Iowa Girls Coaches Association all-state selection; Mississippi Athletic Conference Player of the Year led league at 15.3 points a game and guided the Muskies to their first MAC title since 2002.
Coach Susan Orvis: “Leti just continues to get better every year. Her leadership has grown and matches with abilities, making her more of a complete player.”
Danielle Moore, Davenport Assumption
Height, year: 5-8, junior
Honors/stats: Repeat INA/IGCA all-state selection; averaged 19 points at state tournament as Knights won second straight 3A championship; averaged 12.4 points for season and led Assumption to ninth straight MAC title.
Coach Mallory Youngblut: “I knew she was a competitor and someone we’d rely on a lot for the season. Whether she’s scoring or not, she’s still huge for us, just with the intensity she plays with.”
Hailey Schneden, Davenport Assumption
Height, year: 6-2, junior
Honors/stats: INA/IGCA all-state pick averaged 10.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.6 blocks and shot 60 percent from field; notched a triple-double in state semifinal, including tourney-record 13 blocked shots.
Coach Mallory Youngblut: “She improved huge from last year. With her it was mostly about confidence. She knew that we needed her presence inside, and she had a great year. A lot of it probably goes into her being a good volleyball player.”
Shavonne Brewer, Rock Island
Height, year: 5-5, junior
Honors/stats: AP honorable mention all-state; All-Big Six; led team in scoring with 12.6 average; led team to share of Big Six title.
Coach Thad Hoover: “Shavonne is extremely dedicated to the game of basketball. She does what it takes to be successful no matter what the obstacles are.”
Mikayla Fallon, United Township
Height, year: 5-9, senior
Honors/stats: AP honorable mention all-state; IBCA second-team selection; All-Big Six pick finished with 1,412 career points; averaged 15 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists; led team to share of Western Big Six title.
Coach Justin Shiltz: “With her play and leadership throughout her outstanding career at UT, Mikayla has helped our program take that next step needed in trying to become a consistently competitive and winning basketball program in the Western Big Six and in the Quad-Cities.”
Second team
Larissa Brewer, Clinton
Height, year: 6-3, senior
Stats: 14.9 points, 10.6 rebounds
Bio: Controlled the lane as River Queens improved from 3 wins a year ago to 9.
Emily Clemens, Muscatine
Height, year: 5-4, sophomore
Stats: 12.5 points, 7.0 assists
Bio: Led all Iowa classes in assist average and set school single-season record with 161.
Kate Fennelly, Assumption
Height, year: 5-10, junior
Stats: 9.3 points, 52 3-pointers, 3.1 assists, 2.7 steals
Bio: Class 3A all-tournament team and
All-MAC, led Knights in five statistical categories.
Kylie Romeo, Moline
Height, year: 5-8, senior
Stats: 12.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists
Bio: Led team to sectional finals while being No. 1 or No. 2 in every statistical
category.
Zoe Kelso, Alleman
Height, year: 6-0, junior
Stats: 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals
Bio: All-Western Big Six selection and Class 2A AP all-state honorable mention.
