It was great over at the Charleston to be able to get immediate and constant flow of tourney results via twitter.
The Decatur newspaper provided scores and updates from the boys games at Taylorville.
The Effingham newspaper provided some updates from Charleston when we were not there.
But the king of updates....
.... goes to the Argus-Dispatch. Their range of coverage was totally impressive. Dan Tomlin and Marc Nessler provided a steady flow from get this-- five tourney sites. They sent text updates from Dixon girls tourney, DeKalb boys tourney, Pontiac boys tourney, Bloomington girls and boys tourneys, and Manual girls tourneys. From piecing together things, those two covered Moline girls, Alleman girls, Rocky girls, Alleman boys, Rocky boys, Moline boys, UT girls, UT boys, Geneseo boys, and Geneseo girls.
And then when I got home, Nessler was sending tweets on the Augie game. Pretty impressive, thanks for all the updates.
Not sure how many miles they drove and how many games they saw but pretty impressive.
