Sophs Lose & Frosh Win

Our sophs lost a tough game to Quincy. The final score was 52-44. Quincy had one run at the end of the third quarter that opened up a close game. Galesburg fought to come back and created numerous turnovers in the last 3 minutes but could not convert offensively.

Alyssa Carl and Carley Weigand led the Streaks with 8 points each.

Sophs will be in action next at Rocky on Thursday, December 8 at 5:30pm.

The Galesburg frosh team defeated Ridgewood 31-25 at Ridgewood. Alyssa Burmood and Teanna Allen led the Streaks with 5 points each. Raiyanna McElmurry, Megan Gugliotta, Kiva Mixon, and Jessica Dowers also contributed 4 points to a very balanced attack.

The frosh squad will be back in action at UTHS on Saturday.
