Galesburg Thanksgiving Tourney

This week in her article about area basketball, she talks about the role East Peoria's participation in the Galesburg Thanksgiving Tourney has played in their good start in the Mid-Illini Conference. EP played Galesburg, Springfield, and UT in back to back games. That would be enough to discourage anyone but it has helped toughen them for their conference games.

Next year's Thanksgiving Tourney has back- Galesburg, Alleman, Knoxville, Illini West, UT, East Peoria, Metamora, Springfield, and Dunlap. LeRoy will not be returning, but we have added Freeport to the mix. We are actually in the process of adding two more teams to the tourney, to get to 12 teams. We would like to get at least one more small school to make the tourney better for the small schools in the tourney.
