I read this today from Nick Saban's opening statement at his weekly press conference.
"When we did things correctly, we had a tremendous amount of success. I hope what we learned is when we didn't do things correctly, we had some negative consequences. I think the lesson to be learned is you need to elevate your intensity, preparation and practice habits, so that you get it right and have a better chance to focus and feel comfortable and confident that you get it right in the games. I think as you play better teams, those consequences get magnified a little more, and the emphasis to do things correctly becomes even greater. That's going to be the emphasis and point of focus with our team internally in terms of what we need to do."
