Go Outside and Play

I just came from Go Outside and Play on Seminary St. It is a local running store here in Galesburg. I got Allen a pair of running shoes. The service, the expertise, and the options in shoes were unbelievable. I have shopped at the running stores in the QC's and Peoria and this place is equal to them.

For Allen they first had him stand on a pad that gave an impression of his basic foot strike. Then they put him on a treadmill to video his running foot plants. As they slowed it down, you could see how much pronation he had in his run.

They then came out with 4 different shoes for him. In addition they have running clothes that would obviously be good for all kinds of working out.

I hope this business is supported so we keep something like this in Galesburg!!!
