Galesburg High School girls basketball seniors Jessica Howard and Jamie Johnson were named this week to the All-Western Big 6 Conference team.
Silver Streaks junior forward Sadee Hamilton received honorable mention.
This is third straight year Howard, one of the top 3-point shooters in state history, has been named to the all-conference team. It’s the first selection for Johnson.
They’ve helped lead Galesburg to a 26-6 record and their first regional championship since 2007.

Kiana Brady (junior, United Township), Shavenne’ Brewer (sophomore, Rock Island), Cierra Davis (freshman, Alleman), Mikayla Fallon (junior, Rock Island), Marquisha Harris (senior, Molin), Jessica Howard (senior, Galesburg), Jamie Johnson (senior, Galesburg), Kylie Romeo (junior, Moline), Abby VanDeventer (junior, UT).
Honorable mention: Jordan Fletcher (Quincy), Sadee Hamilton (Galesburg), Whitney Hoover (Rock Island), Tina McCormick (Moline).
