Great Atmosphere at EIU

The championship game vs. T-town was one of the neatest environments a Galesburg girls team has played in. It would be the largest crowd we have played in front of since our Sectional Championship game vs. Morton at Thiel a few years ago. But in this case it was definitely a T-town crowd. Even though it was a hostile crowd, it is a special experience to play in front a crowd like T-town.

It is probably the most people we have ever played in front of in a Christmas tourney. The closest thing would have been in 1997 when we played against Mendota at Normal for the championship.

And a BIG thank you to all of our parents and supporters who made the long trip over. Our girls knew in every game we had our own vocal supporters!!

The crowd and the atmosphere made the championship even more satisfying.
