Sophs Have Nice Night

The Sophs won by about 30. I don't remember the exact score but it was something like 71-40. All the players played in the first half of play. And I thought they played pretty hard.

It was a good night also for the 6 sophs who dressed varsity. Jessica Lieber scored 15 on five threes. Emma Junk continues to run the floor on offense and apply good pressure at the front of our press. Rainee Sibley is outstanding defensively with the combination of her quickness and continuous hustle. Rainee also was 2 for 3 on three pointers. Chloe Anderson rebounded well in the varsity game. Sharron Diggins used her quickness to get a score. And Allison Mangieri nailed a three off the bench. A pretty nice soph class with a good combination of quickness for our press, hustle for our break, and shooting for our offense. Those six plus the rest of the soph team can have a bright future for us.
