One of my favorite coaches is Bruce Weber because he takes the talent he has and gets them to play at high levels. A major factor in his teams playing at high levels is his ability to make practices competitive. I am going to share a drill of his call "20 POINT GAME." This is a 3on3 full court drill. Bruce Webers says, "When you go 3on3 full court all weaknesses show up."
Separate the players into 2 teams
Pick a captain for each team.
Each team will come together and the captain will select 3 players to go first.
There will be substitutions whenever a team reaches 5, 10, and 15 points (captains choose who stays on and who gets off, if there is more 6 or more players there must be 3 new players)
Here how it is scored:
1pt for a score
2pts for a stop
1pt and ball for a foul
1pt for an offensive rebound
